I cant seem to find..
Ive been searching for about a week now and cant seem to find it, so i have to ask.
I want to make my forum to be private, so only members can view it.
So they have to make an account in order to see the forum.
How do i do that?
Thanks.

Re: I cant seem to find..
You have to change the permissions of each individual forum.
Basically, make a group, and under permissions, set it as "can view and post a reply" options to "ticked"

Re: I cant seem to find..
Navigate :
Admin Panel >
Users & Groups >
Groups -- Group Administration >
Click the green Create new group button. On the next page, modify the group, and click save. Now set the permissions to what forums that specific group can have access to. Fully save the settings.
Hope that helped a bit,
Rok

Re: I cant seem to find..
When you tell me to set the permissions to what forums that specific group can have access to, who should be in the group? all the members of the forum?!
and what exactly would i be doing? i just dont get it, what would i set the permissions for? like if i give the group access to all forums, what woudl that do? does that block members from getting in.
Im really sorry for being so noobish but i really dont get it. maybe ill just have to forget it

if you just want members to view forum then
Admin Panel Categories and forums then in permissions
View the forum and its messages : set it to Members
change this for all forums.
