/robots.txt and nofollow links - Why?
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but here goes:
I've noticed that /robots.txt disallows many robots to access my site which apparently prevents search engine bots from finding my forum.
Also it appears the every link to my forum including ones to itself contain the code rel="nofollow" which also prevents search engines from finding links to my forum.
It pretty much looks like search engines aren't supposed to find my forum.
I was just wondering why it is like this and if there is any way to undo it.
Thanks

Yea for some reason, when I tried to submit to my forum to google and other search engines (using that link in the admin panel. i forget where), i got an email saying that it didn't "work" or whatever and cited the /robots.txt file.
I have no idea whats going on with that, but I guess the search engines eventually found me so I guess its no issue now.
