Need to have this person banned

OK, do anyone of you remember the topic where I talked about a guy named Sabin that kept hacking onto a site I go on? Well, he's back again & I keep trying to ban him but he keeps changing his IP addresses & he keeps threatning to destroy the site. Can anyone please help me?

Have yo tried Email banning him, and IP banning his IP address' that he uses?

Also setting his account(s) to "inactive" may deter him from using it again in the future.

Yes I have. Also, this is the third time he's come back & everyone on the site I go on are sick of him. He's pissing everyone off & I want it to stop.

You just ahve to keep banning him, he willeventually get bored of it.

I've tried that already. we kept doing that the first time he disappeared for a while then came back a week later. We did the same thing again & he disappeared once again. Now, he's back for the third time. Apparently, he's not getting bored of it.

This is what you do

Admin Panel>>User & Groups>>User Option>> Click Admin Confirm Activation

That will stop him from activating the account that he made.

Did that already. He got through that. I even made it so the site doesn't allow new members yet he got through that as well. -_-

he uses something i was thinking of it from long time
you make an account
and you see what is the activation code is
then you start your calculation , takes sometime
then , you can guess everytime what is the activation code!!
you need to do onething, change your website host, i mean like from
www.something.forumotion.com change it to www.something.darkbb.com
that way, he wouldn't get it for a while,

yow dude, you just ban him again and again , as daren1 said, he will get bored , but one thing , he might get bored but even after time to time he will come back again , a better thing is to contact an staff or administration over forumotion and give them his ip so they get his real ip and ban him on all forumotion forums, because although using proxies ,you still can know his real ip ,

I would like to contact an staff or administration over forumotion because I have tried EVERITHING, I've banned a lot of his accounts and few IP addresses, but that doesn't stop him...
I don't know who should I talk to... please help!

why don't you just ban because that will make him get bored.

1. he will have to make new email
2. he making ur forum look good the more people the more people will think ur forum good.
3.if he doesn't stop find out where he lives and beep the crap out of him.

khmer kid, here at the support forum, we don't support bullying in any forum

Although what ilyas.darkbb.com said about getting his real IP on a proxy and informing an administrator of forumotion will make them aware of him, I doubt that he will get banned from forumotion forum's.

hm, I would rather have 5 normal active members than 5000 hacked accounts...
he's not getting bored with creating new accounts and e-mail addresses... and he's constantly sending threats to all members through PM messages
He even told me that he would hack my account and destroy my forum
I'm really scared and I don't know what to do anymore...

Is this guy jealous of you or something? Why does he continue to hack and try to destroy your forum. Sad so sad there are people like that.

He should make his own forum.

It's not my forum & this isn't the only forum he's tried to destroy before. He's tried to do the same to many others. That's why I'm trying to get the Forummotion Admins to get rid of him.

This won't stop him from coming back constantly. That problem is not easy to fix.

However, we had problems with new members spamming our board via PM. We now do not allow new members to have PM rights, until they earn it. In our welcome letter to our new members we let them know they do not have PM rights, with a link to the post explaining why. This has worked very well with us.

When we get a new member notice, we go into their profile and click NO for PM's. At least this will stop him from threatening the good members of your board.

He's not just threatening over PM, he does it in some of his posts & on the cbox. We need him gone.
