Reducing or Resizing the Chatbox's Width

Hi,

I am in need of some help regarding the chatbox.

My forum is for a PS3 Gaming Clan, and quite a few users use there PS3's Internet Browser to view the forum.

However there is a slight problem, the chatbox doesn't fit properly on the page, which means the user does not have the ability to scroll down the chatbox as the conversation progresses.

The only way to solve it is by using /clear but that deletes the whole conversation.

The amount that is cut off is, whatever is right of "Se" in the Send button, so "nd" and the scroll bar is not visible.

So i was wondering if it is possible to resize the width of the chatbox to make it smaller? I have very little knowledge of html coding, so would need to have the information in terms i would understand. Could this be done using the CSS Stylesheet? If so how do i change it and what values do i change?
