Edit a members profile in the Admin Panel??

OK I am trying to edit a members profile and to set the member to Moderator, and when I click save, it does not work, it askes me for the password?? Why is that??

Who's password? Yours or the member's?

dont put password, keep it blank, I think and hit submit might work.

Every time I made changes in my Admin I was asked for a password - that was while I used firefox. When i'm using Safari it doesn't happen. So it may be worth changing your browser if it keeps happening.

hmm...i just checked this, using firefox.
I changed many things, not once was I asked for a password.

I have just tried again using Firefox and it didn't ask me for a password. But it used to, and it always asked me whether I wanted firefox to remember the password, even though I had never put one in.

Check if you master password in the firefox tools =>> Setting =>> security =>> remember passwords

If it ask master password than probably you locked your passwords in firefox.

and if I take the password out, it says the email is not good, and if I take that out it does not matter,, this is in the admin panel via me as a admin.

that doesn't appear to be a valid email address.
it only says Admin

you only need to complete the password fields if you intend to change your password
