the point system

hi, im new to the whole forum thing. the forum i used to visit has a point system where on the profile and next to the post of any user there would be a a point bar where they would have a number of points out of hundred. the admin gave prizes to the people who reached 50, 100, 150,200 and so on. how do i get a point bar on my forum?

This is called a personalized profile. You'll have to have the setting of your forum admin panel set to Advanced Mode, then navigate :

Admin Panel >

Users & Groups tab >

Users -- Profiles >

Scroll down to the green Create A Personalized Profile button near the bottom of the section. >

If you want a bar (like 'Reputation Points'), then choose A Bar from the drop down list. If you want images (like 'Trophies' or 'Current Moods'), then choose the Image Among A List Of Preset Images>

Then, name both tables as what the bar is referring to. If you chose to have images besides a bar, then in the description of 'Image Among A List Of Preset Images', paste the image links (you'll have to have a blank image reserved as first on the list). Finally save the settings afterwards.
