How To Create a Direct Link from the Thumbnail image to the Thread link?

Hi all here, i'm the Admin of http://archcg.forumotion.com/forum.htm and i'm a newbie here. i'm so confused with forumotion feature. Do anyone knows how to create a direct link from a thumbnail which is laying on the bottom of the forum to the thread. for the example i'll show you what i mean.

i hosted the architectural design forum and i really need a feature that can support my need to archieve the best pic that has posted to the forum. the best pic will be plugged to the header below of the logo. if members want to see the thread, they can just click to the thumbnail above then it will link to the thread that has created from the author. do anyone knows how to create it? i've surfed to the admin panel. i don't find anything that related to that feature. i really need this kind of feature. can anyone help me to solve this problem? do i need a HTML code? can anyone created to me please? i don't know anything with HTML code....hiks.......
ok for the info...i used PHPBB2 as the basic templete.

i made that feature with my own creation. i made it manually with photoshop, save it to .jpeg file then uploaded/plugged it on logo/ header, but for this kind of work, if we click to the thumbnail, it won't direct link to the thread, but only direct to the INDEX.

ok, so sorry for my long words...hehehe....hopefully i have the answer here as soon as possible, thanks before guys.

i have putted the HTML code to the portal, now it working very well, but it's still not like i want......i wanted feature is like http://www.evermotion.org/
at the header and the bottom of the screen....it has thumbnail images, if we click to the image, it will direct link to the authors' thread. how to do that bro?

The best way to have those thumbnails on the header is to add it to your homepage message. As you already have the code for how to make a thumbnail clickable. Just add those repeated codes in the homepage message.

Display>Generalities
Homepage Message: Add the codes here.

See if that works.

my suggestion is you go for a flash banner..You can request for it in the Graphics design section....

i've done the suggestion to put the HTML code to DISPLAY>GENERALITIES>HOMEPAGE MESSAGE>HTML CODE....but why the image won't appear?

i have changed the url link and the url of the image....it's happened to the portal too.....is not every images appeared....what is happening? the code is the same but not every pic is appeared, sometimes it's appeared but it won't direct link to the thread. hhhmmmm.....really confuse about that....

this code is working now on PORTAL. it's fixed...Sorry...it works too on DISPLAY>HOMEPAGE DISPLAY....hehehe.....
but it's not the same like i want. the image is too big.....

You should reduce the size of the original image. Here is a online tool to resize the images http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

I shrinked the original image for maximum image dimension as 100 pixels set on that website.

once you get the shrinked image you can use that instead of the larger one which you used.

for the code...the last code is working very well on my PORTAL forum, but there's a weird if i put many times code (i want to share many of pics there) but it only appeared the first image only. How to solve this one bro?
