The Admin of a phbb1 forum (which has not been upgraded to V2 or 3) claims that he has no control over the soft-porn girlie adverts which appear BECAUSE it's a free forum. Is that true?
And does this apply to forumotion?

Re: Advertisements
If he is getting inappropriate ads on his forum he needs to PM Typlo on this forum.
It is true that sites have no control over the ads that pop up on their forums, but these kinds of ads are not acceptable. Thats why he needs to contact Typlo

Akashic, adminette meant someone has told her that free forums, have those kinda ads. Wants to confirm whether forumotion also does that.
In my opinion forumotion does not do that, i have never seen that personally either.

Re: Advertisements
You can remove ads by paying for them.
Those ads are by third party companies, which you have no control over. But, yes obviously forumotion does not allow such content. If there was any such issue, it will be promptly removed.
