Adding ban permissons to a specific user group ?

Hello,

I know that i can add the option to ban members for every Moderater that i add to my forum but if i make a new group called Supermoderaters and want to give that group the ability to ban members but not the group of regular moderaters this option, how do i do that ?

Are you saying that you want a group called Super Moderator, and have it set where they can't ban Moderators?

No, i already have a group of super mods created but since the ban of members option applies globally it would mean i had to add that feature to both mods and super mods though i only want this to apply to my group of super mods whereas the problem arise when this feature of being able to give specific user groups specific options such as being able to ban is not available yet.

Hm, well this is a problem. You can have the setting arranged to where Moderators (custom moderation groups count as well) can't ban members. If you set that, then both groups can't ban members; but if you don't, then both groups can.

Yes, either all mods can ban or none can. Sorry. It would be good if you could give certain groups ban permissions or not. I would say, that you let all mods ban members, but only let users become moderators if you trust them.
