Forum is showing locked ??

Evening All

hope someone has a real simple solution to this one

I am logging onto the forum I use OK...username and password has not changed.....I can get on OK and read all the posts BUT can not post anything and at the bottom of the page it is showing 'Forum Locked' I contacted the guy who runs it and he logged on as me and had no problems posting......Help please

I don't see a single locked forum o.Ô

The icon at the bottom of the page is only for the legend, it does not mean the whole forum is locked

Please ask the admin to verify the forums' permissions, maybe members can't post

Hello, i am the admin of the forum and nobody else has a problem posting as far as i am aware, people are still posting and i have not changed anything on my forum so everything should be ok.

Could it be something to do with the user using a mac?

......I have contacted the admin I explained the problem I was having so he logged on as 'me' and had no problem posting on the forum......weird......... I dont think anyone else is having an issue posting just seems to be an issue with my account/access
do you think the best thing is to ask him to delete my exisiting account and re-register.........

Just to add if this helps, the poster said when logged in the screen to type a message was grey.

As i have said i have not banned the poster or changes any permissions or anything like that and as you can see the poster posted here with no problems.

Is the WYSIWYG mode (advanced editor) activated by default on your forum ?

If yes, the problem comes from an incompatibility between the editor and MACs. You can disactivate it by clicking on the icon, as indicated in this screenshot :
