Widget Management Controls Options

First, love the free software. In have a large membership that are enjoying MY Forum here with this software. I have a Widget question and or suggestion.

In the Back office controls for the Widget Management, the Choices are left and right for colums and On and Off for Widgets.

Can we or the tech here program in a Home Page only Option choice for the side widgets along with the On and Off Choices?

Or, am I missing this control somewhere?

I've got pretty much the same question. I'd like to set a few of our widgets to only run on the main forum page rather than inside sub-forums or within posts. Is there some way to manually do this that I'm missing or is the functionality absent from this build?

I'm guessing there's some drawn-out process for "requesting" said feature, right?
