Why does`nt my signature appear

I am not able to get my signature to show, inspite of opting for Yes to attach signature.Help !!. Also a pretty basic question as a newcomer. I am using a Invision - White Ocean theme. I dont see any options for changes in the template. Is this how it is supposed to me. Do I have an option of using my Adsense code on my forum.Thanks

My Signature is not displayed, what should I do?

In general, there are two settings that could be the reason for your sig not to be displayed. The first one is in your admin panel, where you can allow or deny the use of signatures on a global level. Go to "Users & Groups / Users / User Options" and set "Allow Signatures" to YES.

The second option can be found in your personal profile settings. Go to "Profile >> Preferences" and enable the option "Always attach my signature". Your signature should now be attached to all posts you make, if you actually have content in it.

Note: On some forum versions, it's possible that you still won't see your signatures on posts you have already made, although you have activated all necessary options. There is no other way to change this than to edit those posts and mark the box "attach my signature to this post" and save.

You don't have template editing in invision. Its available for phpbb2 version.

You can use google adsense code on your forum, in homepage message

Ok..i think the signature thing is sorted out. tried the adsense thing....the adsense unit is not being displayed. how can i change the placement of the adsense units.

You mean you are trying to put google adsense on your forum? Where do you want to put the google adsense unit?

Well I have this space on the left where the other widgets are. I thought I`d use the empty space to fill up with adsense. I tried using a custom block .It did`nt work with that. If i paste the code in Display- Generalities-Home page message....it fills up the homepage. Any ideas how i can use adsense on the forum .

Can you post the code? The code should have worked on homepage message.

I know the adsense code does not work properly when you create a widget, as in it shows but the shape is not according to how you create a small ad.

it works on the homepage message , but I think i will have to experiment with the type of ad unit. I tried with a vertical banner, but it looked completely out of place taking up one corner of a huge empty blank square

It worked on the homepage , but only at the top under the forum title...How can I get adsense to work on all pages and on other places on the homepage other than right on top

Can add a widget, but i know that too has issues with the adsense ads not fitting correctly. But you can give it a try. Just make a widget & add the code there.
