Can usernames be merged?

Let me explain what I mean.... can I take the default Admin username and merge it with my username?
I am the owner and founder of my forum.

Admin (username)

You can have whatever user name you want

Yes, I mean the Admin username.
I want to change it to my username that is already in use; merging the posts.
Both usernames have same rank and same permissions. I would like to consolidate them.
I hope that makes more sense.

Sorry but from what I understood you want to merge to accounts which isn't possible.
