Favicon will not show on Index, but other pages, techinical issue it seems

I think this is a technical problems so I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem.

The favicon is set correctly, I even used one of the model favicon's in the AP, and it shows up on every page BUT the index/home page.

Jalokim has even worked with it, trying different codes and things and nothing seems to crack this issue.

Anyone??

Skittles I have tried a few forumotion forums and I do not see any problem with the forums I have been on.

No problem with the favicon on my site either. What format is your pic ?

Edit: Maybe there is a temporary glitch with certain formats at the moment.

I'm using vista plain on version 3, i'm having no problems.

Try the favicon I have on my site just to see if you are still having problems

Problem solved!!!

Thanks guys. With the help of Sanket, we were brainstorming, and I recalled that I used to have an ICO favicon in that forum, before they changed things to where you can just add an image url to the favicon area in the General tab, configuration. But I didn't have that favicon anymore due to the fact that my fileden deleted it, because I apparently didn't go log in soon enough. They make u come in each month to log in, and go thru all of their advertisements, grrrr. So the file was gone.

BUT the code that I had originally in the Other Meta Tags, in the Display part of the AP, was still there!!!! Which is why I was getting that error sign in the favicon location.

FINALLY solved!!! hehehe Forgot all about that Other Meta tags. lol
