banning from specific forum or category?

Is there a way to ban a user from specific category or subforum where he was misbehaving, and still let him visit and post in other sections of the forum?

If not, this would be a tite addition to existing ban tools..

Well, there are two banning system only available for today:

1. IP Banned users so that it can never again enter your forum site.
2. Banned users account, so he/she can no longer log in in your site with his/her account.

Put that member in such a group, which does not has access to that certain category of forums.

Go to the Admin panel
----------> Users/Groups
---------->Group Administration
---------->Add a new group
----------> Add the member you want to ban from the particular forum to the group(don't forget to hide the group)

Then go to go to your forum/catagorie configuration place.
Then go to the forum you want to ban the member from.
Go to permissions of forum
You should see all of your groups and some boxes, unclick every thing for the group you want to ban from the forum and save
