Ranks (White and Green)

Here are some ranks I made in a couple minutes, so they're probably not that good, but you can use them if you want.

What am i missing here ?

Those creations could almost serve better as a warning bars, instead of ranks.

No no no, dont get me wrong.

But : when i think on ranks i have something like this in mind :

♣ Size from 120 x 25 or more
♣ Border
♣ A bit rounded edges
♣ Suitable font and text ( not too big, not to small, not to "wild" )
♣ Background design

Therefore they possible CANT be ranks...

While warning bars are usually something like this :

♣ Decreasing / increasing color ( based on warnings )
♣ Different colors
♣ NEEDED eye candy
♣ Interesting border

Your creations are somewhere between.

I am being honest with everyone i am not making any differences when commenting art. If i think its great i say its great. If i think its bad i say its bad and i COMMENT why i THINK its bad.

I recommend using them as ranks with the font overwriting the images; something like this (except obviously transparent and with diferent font) :

Well, overall, those are pretty good. Did you make them manually?

I agree. They are simple and a bit boring. The idea is good though! Why don't you use some gloss and round the corners?

Ok, These are nice but they will need alot of work to make them good enough for the gallery.

I think what you will need to do is stilt them up a bit whether they are going to be rank or warning bars.

(roughly done) and also put a percentage on them. and progress the ranks in blocks not a gradient.

To be honest I do not really like them.

a bit too simple for me, especially for rank images.

i agree with Tarogasini that they'd suit better as warning bars.

These are decent, and would be far better suited as warning bar images, rather than rank images.
