Advertising another site in your forum?

I've had a couple of ideas when I was thinking of advertising possibilities.

You can add a non-framed forum widget and enter there the ad's image and link in HTML.
You can add it in the homepage message or add a new block in the portal where the ad is.
There is a default portal block called Links. You can simply add the advertisement(s) there.

Hope I could help and I told the right thing. Anyway, I want to share my ideas anyway. =)

Oh, forgot to tell you about the advertising thing. Thanks to Evanna.
Yes you can add the advertising as a widget. You can make a moving advertising banner, use this code. I personally use a similar advertising widget, hope you like it.

Code:
<marquee direction ="up" id="id1"><span onmouseover="getElementById('id1').stop();" onmouseout="getElementById('id1').start();"> <div align="center"><FORUM URL1"><img src="FORUM IMAGE1"></div></a><div align="center"><a href="FORUM URL2"><img src="FORUM IMAGE2"></div></a><div align="center"><a href="FORUM URL 3"target="_blank"><img src="FORUM IMAGE 3" ></div></a><div align="center" style="text-align:center"></marquee>

Just replace the forum image # & the FOrum URL # with the links. Reduce or increase according to your choices.
