Cannot find my forum on a google search
I have my forum indexed and succesfully accessed by google.Below are the info I have from Google Webmaster Tools:
"Home page crawl:
Googlebot has successfully accessed your home page. More information.
Index status:
Pages from your site are included in Google's index.
No pages from your Sitemaps are currently in Google's index. Indexing can take time. You may find it helpful to review our information for webmasters and webmaster guidelines."
I have about 10 keywords and I have submitted sitemap but so far I can only find my forum if I search for "tiger's forum", not with any other keywords, such as "area 51"(the new forum name) or "conspiracy" or "UFO", etc....
Also I haven't seen googlebot at all, even though I have the above confirmation message.
Do I just have to wait more or do I have to do something about it?
I used search function for googlebot queries but I couldn't find what I am looking for.

Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
It doesn't appear on your homepage only on banner?
Bots would not pick it up from a Banner
it should not be an abreviation, use several full words
to describe your forum

Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
Forums are meta tagged by their site description
show a screen shot of your site description like I did above

And it doesn't come up
And it doesn't come up
Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
You only need three words Conspiracy Theory Ufology
to describe your forum
to describe your forum

Right...you mean the description only or the keywords too?
Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
If you have a PC then a free program Download
will allow you to take screen shots
will allow you to take screen shots
- Code:
and in site description insert <p style=text-align: center;> Conspiracy Ufology Theory </p>
Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
Ok, so I've put this: "<p style=text-align: center;> Conspiracy Ufology Theory </p> " into site description box and I hit save, but I still have my old description
Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
Does your forum has clicks?
Maybe there are other sites with "Conspiracy Ufology Theory" in their text, body and have more clicks than your site
Give some time to Google , ohh and try searching exactly what your site title is

Well, I do have ads by Google, and I have changed my site title, from Tiger's Forum ( no one would search for this, unless they are close friends) to Area 51, but still can't find it.
I am willing ofc to wait more, but how long? If, ofc, this is the problem........
Re: Cannot find my forum on a google search
Bots read this site, so it's a good idea to include your
site address when there are queries made in messages
concerning your site, it not only helps others to see what
the problem might be but also alerts the search engines to
log another site on line eg. include http://conspiracy.forumotion.net/forum.htm
in your messages when seeking help on the help forums about
maters concerning your forum

I recommend you to read my short tutorial that will help get your forum on Google :
Also, your forum will appear on Google the higher your forum's popularity is. So, mak as many threads as you possibly can, and get the member ranking very high.

When you search for something on Google, and it is one of your keywords, then it will appear in the Google Search. This is a very great way to achieve members.
To add keywords :
Admin Panel >
Display tab >
Homepage -- Generalities >
Scroll down to the Referencing : metatags section. Beside where "Keywords for your site
Words must be separated by a comma." is stated, enter some famous word searches. Some examples of famous wors searches would be :
• Hannah Montana
• Friday the 13th
• Tony Hawk
• -Holidays- (Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving)
• -Famous Movies-
• -Famous Games-
• -Small, but used words- (and, the, in)
Make sure you Save the settings afterwards.
