Guest able to post when they are not allowed?

I have set-up permissions so that guests are only allowed to read but not write/reply in topics apart from those especially designed for them, yet I have found that a guest did a post and I don't know what I have done wrong.
Help would be appreciated.

Go to.

Administratrors panel => General => Categories and forums => then check all of your permissons on all your categories.

That's the thingy, I DID checked the permissions and guests are only allowed to read the topics but not to reply to them except the first forum, yet the one I am talking about did replied to a topic in a different forum not supposed to be accessible to him even though I have set up the permissions correctly.

Probably, it happened while you were setting up the forum permissions.

Try logging out & see if you are able to post anything in that forum, if not there is nothing to worry about.

I did that and as a guest I found myself unable to reply or make a new topic, just as I wanted.But somehow that guest did managed to make a reply in a forum guests were (or at least I thought so) not allowed to write.Now I made sure I have guests able to only View and Read, except for one forum where they can make application for membership.
I will try to get a friend of mine now to try either reply or make a new topic as a guest, see if he can or not.

Since I am here, a question please: is it possible I can set up permissions for Guests for all the forums from one place? I mean now I just go to each forum and set permissions for guests(View, Read, Reply, etc), but if I have like 30 forums in 5 categories do I have to set up permissions for each one?
