Please help me with colors/Auto Kick-out, logout [Solved]
I tried changing the background color of Quotes to make it more visible. But everytime I click save after editing (in the AdminPanel > StylesAdmin > colors) the panel just jump back to the Administration tab without saving the changes. I use a theme provided by Editboard. Please help.

Re: Please help me with colors/Auto Kick-out, logout [Solved]
Thank you for your warm welcome. And pardon me, I am a newbie to the forum thing. I did look for tutorials that could hold answer to my question and in this case went to the same link you provided https://help.forumotion.com/viewtopic.forum?t=248 before I posted this new topic.
The tutorial topic is helpful but doesn't answer my question (or I am simply too dense, so help me out here lol).
The theme element that I wish to change color is "Buttons, Code and Quote color" and this happens to be unique (going by the default color value).
Does anyone know how this could be done?
P.S. the tutorial on color is great, but the images hosted by imageshack never loads for me. Though it doesn't affect my understanding of the tutorial without pictorial examples.

Does anyone has this problem? Everytime you try to access another tab on the admin panel, it jumps back to the administration panel tab and you need a few tries before you could go to the tab you want to. This is getting annoying.
And btw anyone has the same color editing problem? Is it a problem with the provided theme or anything? even suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

hmm... I don't know what you did, but I can change the colors now. And I have always accepted cookies and clear my cache whenever I close all my browsers. Thanks... this problem is solved.
But I got a more serious problem now. The forum would frequently kick me out (ask for my login again) when I switch tabs or click links inside the admin panel or go to a forum section within the forum.
I am using Firefox 2.0
Should I start a new topic?
Edit: it has gotten much worse... Its like it has a 3-sec timeout for logging in.

hello,
no problem, i can answer you on this topic!
it can come from the fact the you spent to much time on the same page, so for security reasons your forum ask you loggin again!! it can come also from some sercurity option!!check on admin panel>>general admin>>security>>Security Administration>>Auth Dialog Box to access to administration

Thank you for your prompt attention.
I don't understand what I should do on the security section. I don't think I had done anything to it before this. Should I activate the Auth Dialog Box? Its at inactive status now. Also, what should I key in for my Userid and Password in the dialogue box? I tried with Userid: Admin and use the corresponding password, but it doesn't work. Thanks.

Also, my chatbox is really weird. Apart from the one time I was able to log in when I activated, I have been kept out from it since then. Here is a screenshot of what it looked like:

Others in the chat say they could see me... but all I saw was the screenshot.
