Are there any advantages of putting ads on your forum. Not like personal ads but I know that somewhere there is an option to turn on ads for Guests/Members/Moderators/Administrators?

So what are the advantages (if any)?
And because I forgot, where do you turn the ads on?

There are no advantages. It just helps Forumotion with the server hosting and anything else they need the money for.

Advantages:

Help forumotion with bills

Disadvantages:

Make your forum not look that good

Yes you can turn these adds off

Admin panel >> General (Tab) >> Configuration > Activate ads to Guests only > save.
(You cannot de-activate it for guests.)

The adds are on automatically
