Re: Put videos
of course... Though you need the video's author permission...
You can either upload your movie to YouTube.com and recieve a HTML code;
Or upload the video to FileDen.com, copy the URL, then you go to:
http://freevideocoding.com/ pick the kind of video you want, and fill in the fields (choose embed).
Either way, you'll end up with a HTML code.
Copy it.
If you want the video to appear on your portal, add a new block in the portal and paste the html code.
If you want the video to appear on your forum, paste the code in your Homepage message.

Re: Put videos
Are you sure you need to have the permission to embed a video?
I've gone over their help section wich talks about this, and there's nothing that says you have to have the permission to embed a video in a website (unless perhaps it was a video set as private, but most aren't. When they are there's something mentioning it.).
There's a button to start the embedding process, and there's nothing at that point or in the help section mentioning any restriction such as having to have permission.
It doesn't seem to be an issue. There's no copyright issue involved. Nor other issue stated - or implied - in their documentation.
I've tried contacting them but they don't make e-mail inquiries easy..
Here, read this:
https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
F. YouTube permits you to link to materials on the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. In addition, YouTube provides an "Embeddable Player" feature, which you may incorporate into your own personal, non-commercial websites for use in accessing the materials on the Website, provided that you include a prominent link back to the YouTube website on the pages containing the Embeddable Player. YouTube reserves the right to discontinue any aspect of the YouTube Website at any time.
