No Category Separator Empty No Category Separator

The category separator borders are not showing up on my forum. The are sill configured correctly on the admin panel, but it's not showing up on the actual forum.

Regarding the categories issue, you can retrieve them by going here :
Admin panel > Display > structure and hierarchy > Split categories on index > medium

I had the same problem and used the advice posted by MrMario and it works beautifully.

My question is why did they disappear to begin with?
