Announcement Scroller

I have activated the announcement scroller but I do not think I have something right. Only a few of the words are shown then they hide behind the buttons such as calender, search, memberlist etc. How can I have the scroller above or under these buttons?

Try varying the height of it.

I did increase the height but the buttons are still hiding the scrolling message except for just a small portion. The message scrolls behind the buttons.

Which forum version are you using?

I have looked in admin panel and cannot find where to edit buttons and their size.

Yes, I read it but do not understand if it applies to my problem. The forum buttons such as search, member list, index etc are hiding part of the scroller message. You can only see about one inch of it then it scrolls behind the buttons. I would like to use the announcement scroller but not the way it looks at the present.

Make the scrolling go from right to left. See what happens.

I tried scrolling from right to left. That did not help.

I deactivated the announcement scroller until I can understand what to do.

Those fixes were given for phpbb2, try adding them to your css. See if that works.

Ya'll must have fixed the problem for I re-activated this morning and it works perfect. I just need to learn to arrange the messages or pictures in the neatest way. Thank you so very much!
