If you mean remove the avatars from the members list, i'm not entirely sure. This feature has come in the last update, so within the last few days, and I haven't had the change to run through the entire administration panel to see everything that's new.

I've seen a fair bit though, and I haven't seen any option that enables you to remove this, I'm fairly sure the answer is no, you may not remove it, but I wouldn't be 100% sure.
