Latest topic box help

For some reason, my ''latest topic'' box, has not been working properly, its coming up with topics from 2 days ago, when there has been loads since? This only happens if you are a guest?

Why is this?

Why don't you reinstall the widget?

I have set it ''off'' and then on again, and it still hasn't updated

I mean delete it & then add it again.

No, it is working perfectly fine.
The problem is guest permissions arent set properly, they can only see what they are meant to or whatever.

Oh yeah that is a thought........
