Hiding sub-forums.

Hello all,

I was wondering if you could help me. I am wanting to place sub-forums into a forum but everytime I seem to have been sucessful in doing so the sub-forum also shows up on the main page. I am wondering if it is possible to hide the sub-forum from the main page?

(e.g) I have 'chat' as a forum and you can obviously see it on the main page, but I would also like to have specific sub-forums indicating areas like 'Arkwork', 'games', that sort of thing. However when I do create these 'so-called' sub-forums they also appear on the main forum page, as well as the forum it was added under.

So I would just like to know if this is at all possible. Cheers for you time.

Admin control panel > Display > Homepage > Structure and hierarchy > scroll down > Sub-level links on index choose no

Split categories on index, make it medium
