Clean up of the suggestion section

Hello,

Id like to suggest that the staff preform a clean up of the "suggestion for your forum" section, to remove the suggestion's that will not happen (such that require access to the database) & or suggestions such as the "*NEW* thanks button" because it has now happened, and so has the "multi quite" button too.

Suggestion's for improvement, clarification ect?

I myself am willing to do this, however its not my call.

definitely, if the moderators did not have time to do it I would be willing, the section definitely needs a clean-up.

SO, your saying, of the hundreds of similar threads and proposals that have already been refused by the technicians themselves should stay there, and make the suggestions look ugly?

Why would there need to be a single clean up thread?
The last clean out, everything was trashed, not put into 1 thread.

To all who have not yet posted, who would like further clarification of this suggestion.

This is a suggestion to remove already refused suggestions & suggestions that have now been appraised, and implemented out of the suggestion section, because they are no-longer "suggestions".
They have been accepted OR refused, simple as that.



I do not know how to make this suggestion any clearer than how I did above!

i don't think it should be done, lots of people dont want there ideas deleted even if the subject has already been done. Having the forums is something to reflect on, and anyhow if someone gave you powers, how could the staff trust you? What if you found someones idea stupid and deleted it anyway. Even if you say oh i wouldn't do that we don't for sure know. That goes for anybody so there is no point in cleaning up any thread.

The thread is not deleted, its just moved.

I know this forum for trashing things NOT deleting things, I know the rules, and nothing is deleted, just everything is trashed.

And the admins can see who trashed / deleted what threads!

I wouldnt delete things unless I had been told to by multiple administrator's

Yes, the archives are for accepted / refused suggestions.
Only the high voted refused suggestions go there tho

I think it needs a small clean up like the locked topics moving to the archive section but other than that it is fine,

Good idea, Good moral and everything, however relistically, that would be a round-the-clock type of job
It would be awfully hard to clean up hundreds upon hundreds of pages of similar stuff.

Actually, 2 things have.

Cash mod, Rep/point & Thanks button

The cash mod isnt counted (in my opinion) because its just a crap rip off, and isnt even 1/2 of other forums cash modules (especually PHPBB)

Note: that's 2/10000 suggestion happened

Thanks to skittles for removing the non poll, locked, (pre) refused suggestions

Now, I suggest (hence this suggestion) that we kindly ask a techie to come and help out, and accept or trash some suggestions
