I would go over all the configuration buttons and mess with it then make sure u save it, then try. I had same problem once and i just had to save a couple of times, and then site registers what you selected. Sometimes you click something and it doesnt do that. Lately though it hasn't been doing that everytime i click something it does it instantly

it might have to do with the age limit
how old are the people who want to register?

go to Admin Panel->User&Groups->User Options->Birthdays->Minimum User Age

fix that to your liking

Ok i think its got something to do with the way its been set up

Try setting the activation to automatic to see what happens

1. Navigate to:

Admin panel\Users & Groups\User Options

2. Next to "New accounts activation :" select "Automatic" and press "Save"

3. Get some one to try and create a new account, This should then ask the user to confirm a safety code and then should avoid the error message and activate the account,

Let me know what happens Smile

regards

I did that yesterday after I posted here. I actually put 500. It worked.

Thanks. Shocked

Hey Skib,

I feel your pain and frustration, but don't make a new forum. Especially if your forum has a lot of activity. Just post somthing so everyone is aware of the registration issue and have them hold tight while the people at Forumotion tries to fix what is wrong.

Forums are like women and whiskey. They both get better with age! Laughing
