User does not exist

Just beginning all the set up etc as a new forum...

1 -I made myself a member as well as being the Admin, the board siad there are three members??
2 - And when I went to confirm registration via link in email as a memeber - I got "memeber does not exist"
3 - I have a new member email notification, and had a message to say "memeber does not exist" when following my admin email link.

Why is this so - the member is registered - could it be awaiting activation, if so why did the board specify three members days before the other member visited and registered.

I think this may be being caused because these members are found in the inactive users list? If so, you need to remove them from the inactive list.

Well I thought it should activate automatically when following the link as a member. I do not want to activate new members each time.
so far - helps a little - need auto not manual

BTW - I guess the mystery member is the forum - is it not

BTW2 - the font default colour is a little too soft for easy reading

I think your main problem is the inactive users list but I'm not 100% sure.
If I've helped would you like to mark the helpful post with the "thanks" button?

Perhaps a tidier view of the admin panel in some areas
recent - is a bit vague - should be 'new awaiting activation'
inactive could mean not on line or never posted or have not postedd for<period> -
recent = ??
sorry those tags are unclear
