Search button

Hi all,

How do you hide the search box under the navigator (like that search button here)? It didnt have that before and now it shows on the right side. I look through the admin panel but nothing there.

Go to Admin Panel, then Modules and click on Portal Management or Forum Management, depending whether you want to get rid of it on the Portal or Forum, there you will see Forum Widget Management and the search widget will be there just click on the cross to get rid of it.

With the Portal Management, you will have to click on structure to change the widget, you will find this, where it says Portal Page List, you can add or delete widgets, same with the Forum Management. Hope this helps.

what i meant is the plain search box on top right column just above the login box. I want to take that off to much searches link, the search with google (portal) its much nicer on forum (just a thought). So why add another search on top if there is already link on top menu? Just a question!!?

You can remove this :

1. Administration Panel

2. Modules tab

3. Forum Widgets Management

4. Click the red 'X' beside the 'Search' widget and then it's gone.

i tried that but the actual search in column is gone not the search on top right.

The search from the Navigation Bar is gone?

Can you please supply your forum link.
