Minimum characters limit.

Couldn't find this...
Is it possible to make a character limit in posts? To avoid spam.
If a user wants to post: "w00t" ( for example) , which is, in my eyes, spam ('Cause it's a single word), when he presses the "Send" button, the post won't be posted and a pop up will pop, up, and say: "Your message is to short, 10 char minimum is required".
Can I do that?
