Forum is too narrow. CSS problem? Empty Forum is too narrow. CSS problem?

Heres my problem. After tweaking the appearance of my forum, the whole thing is now squashed in between two borders. Heres a screenie:

How can I get rid of these borders either side? I've tried changing the forum width, to no avail. I've tried removing widgets even though I wasn't using any anyway. I've tried everything I can think of and am now at a complete loss. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

Have you tried changing your theme
some themes have CSS script that set
the forum width so it can only be adjusted
in the CSS script.

Which theme are you using? Maybe someone
knows which part of the script for that theme
that can be set to adjust the forum width. Idea

I think your forum banner is too long, forum width is not the problem.
