Checking IP Addresses?

I would like to be able to check ip addresses before activating, when however I click on the link to check their details it automatically activates them. I have had to ban a few 'undesirables' so need to check all new members. Is it possible to check ip addresses before I activate them?

Nope, you can only see their I.P address, whilses they're online via the administrators panel

You can also check them via post

That is what I thought, am checking in the admin panel, if any 'weird' ones appear I will just push that button :-)
