Threatening

Well a person from photoshopworld has come on my forum and posted in my forum site/news forum with the title 'Demands that has to be met'.

I demand you hand over an admin account promote this account to admin, or this worthless forum will suffer the consequences and become unusable. Account bans, account deleting, IP bans, they can easily all be got round. I suggest you hand over the admin account for your own saftey.

You have 24 hours to decide you fate.

That sounds dangerous. But I bet this person is just trying to scare you.

That is the most inneffective plan ever and you fell for it. Dude, no-one just dismantles forums, well not all of them. (No, don't look at me! I'm talking about someone else!)

I haven't fell for it at all. Am just wondering if you allow it. Just because photoshop is a close rival of ours in graphics, who gives on of them the right to threat our forum and not just that spam my forum.

Just delete the msg and Ban him/her. Sounds like he's just trying to scare you, or make a scene. And make sure your creating email and passwords are secure, if unsure, change your password to something MUCH harder

Yes all my passwords are hard to get. However i banned him on one account, he just creates making accounts.

you know what you do with people like that. you put them in the dog house.
That is a board you create and place them in a group then you send them to that board. they have no permissions at all and are stuck in there. so instead of worrying about people trying to change there ip or what ever and return. there still a member but cant do anything and are confined to that board. no pm,or posting,or replying nothing what so ever.

sounds a lil cruel but can be effective. until they try to create another account. then you put then there again. sooner or latter they will give up and just leave.lol

Yes, but if his accuses are wrong I think he deserves warning here. Its not ok to accuse someone if thats not true.

I also can say someone from Planet GFX bother me. Only thing this tommy wants to do is to harm rival forum.

I agree with Caihlem on this one, Its understandable how someone can get a bit hassled if they receive threats like this, it isnt nice at all, and it does make you nervous when somebody threatens your site as you simply dont know what to expect they will do. This does sound like somebody just trying it on with no skill to do anything about it, real hackers dont threaten they just do and tell you about it afterwards.

Jocker, you are being a bit unfair here (not to mention over opinionated) towards TommyDnB. You say he is just trying to cause problems for a rival forum and should be warned. Well unless you are psychic (if you are please join my forum) if not, and i suspect you are not, then you accusing Tommy of making this all up to harm another forum (without evidence) makes you guilty of the things you are accusing Tommy of doing (without evidence)... So who exactly needs the warning??

Am I opened topic which accuse somebody? Accusing somebody without evidence is unfair. I am just telling facts.
Tommy show us evidence. You accuse other forum staff. Are you 100% sure in this? If not, then thats just your assumptions.
Accusing someone without evidence is really dangerous.

Its what 4 days now and nothing has happened, so as everyone has said nothing to worry about.
