How to moderate messages of a member?

Is there a way to moderate a member's messages by stuff prior to publishing rather than delete it after it has been done?

I know in Yahoo Groups it is a great option...

Yes, but editing is only done AFTER the post is already visible to the entire world...

It works great in Yahoo Groups.

The assigned moderator gets the messages to his email, checks it out and click on the accept or reject link. That's it.

I think it is a great feature that sometimes much needed with some of the users. It is not final like banning and still you have the ability to keep the forum clean.
