Banner is slowing down my forum

Hello,

I've recently received a banner for my newly-created forum. However, since I installed it (it was through URL), my forum has been running extremely slow. Everytime I click on something, it takes over 15 seconds just to load. Is there a problem with the banner? Or is it something else? Hi Universal Master8k, I just viewed your forum and your banner and forum both loaded pretty quickly for me, I'm using Firefox browser.

Have you tried deleting your cookies and clearing your cache? That may help your forum load quicker as well.

I'll definitely try that. How do I delete my cookies and clear the cache again? Also, when I remove the banner, the forum loads quickly. Why do you think that is? Also, it's not only that, but once you click on a button to navigate somewhere else on the forum, it takes a really long time.

Apologies for the double post, but I deleted the forum cookies and cleared the cache, however I can't get anywhere on my forum quickly. Do you think it's the size of my banner?

Try changing the banner and see what happens.

I tried that version of it, and for something anything on the forum loads fairly slow. Not too slow, but it is sluggish. Should I get a new banner?

Have you tried making the banner smaller?

If you go into the Grathic Section to ask someone to change the size or you can upload it to photoshop and edit from there.

I think I should change the size. I'll try it out and if the problem persists, I;ll just obtain another banner. I'll keep you posted.

I apologize for the unnecessary double post, but I got my banner resized and it works perfectly! My forum is now running smoothly. Thanks to everybody here for their assistance.
