change topic subject

hi there..
I got a little problem with "topic subject"..
I'm now at university and using this university connection.. so that some word has been blocked by university where we cant open the link with the word has been blocked such as word "s*x"

my problem is.. someone post a topic using "s*x" word as a title and I cant view it..
is there any way that I can edit the topic title without open the thread?

no you would have to open the thread/post and edit the title form there.

There is no other way gaja. You have to open the thread in order the topic title.

i dont understand why you cant open the thread?
you should still be able to click on it regardless of what the title is?

oh wait try this. click on the members profile from who's thread it is. then check find all post by that member. you might be able to get in it that way? but not sure because the title may still be censored or blocked like you said above. but it's worth a shot

Yes be sure to try what Dralimarx has suggested too. and if that still dont help you might want to consider making a rule for your members not to use any of the words that are blocked in there post titles. i dont understand how the university is able to do this.it seems rather silly to me. but since this is the case there might not be many options? thanks
