mature threads

my forum is about art, a few members are wondering if it is possible to have a thread for (not pornographic) but mature art. i was not sure if this was against the forummotion rules or not. any help would be nice.

not porn, just not stuff for younger people. could i have a thread for ONLY people in a "mature" group? thus eliminating the ability for people to yong to see it?

Well the word "Mature" means much.
It can lead to Pornographic material.
I think it lies under the category of porn, and that your forum can get reported.

i have made sure my users DO NOT post such things till i know the answer to my question

Alright.
But, there might be new users who don't understand this concept of yours -- and they might post such.
So, just for 'back-up', make a sticky thread that explains how Pornographic material is frowned upon heavily, and warnings will result if you do not follow this rule.
