my version is phpbb2 how can i get each topic to have it say by: then whoever wrote it. Just like it does on this site, as on mine it shows it in its own little box between rplies and views

Navigate :

Administration Panel
Display tab
Homepage -- Structure and Hierarchy
Show the last topic titles on index : Yes

no i mean when your viewing a post, i know how to do that. Like this topic i posted before you go into it under the topic title it says by admin1177

well its not it just shows the topic title then you go over and it shows how many replies then author then views then who posted in it last
