Can I change the order of the topics?

I want to change the order according to date. cos its not in sequence. Can I do it?

When you create a forum, there is an option of Sort topics by:

Select whatever suits you.

No not this, its the part whereby when I post, its not according to the ascending date I want, so I want to change it. Is it possible?

In the same place where i mentioned where you make forum, there is an option of sort topics of a post by, you can select according to your choice.

Actually what I mean is because I've posted the 26th April topic first after that 25th April's topic, so I want to change the position of these topics.

Yes thats what it will do, tell me in a thread which post do you want to appear first?

the 26th first followed by the 25th

General>Categories and forums
Click on the forum name
Sort the posts of a topic by :Post's date(most recent in first)

Save
Repeat this step for all the forums where you want this setting.

thanks but i think u got the wrong idea.

I'm referring to the topics in a particular section and not the posts in a topic.

I really don't understand; the setting which i said does what you want.

No its like by right we are supposed to post the latest topics first right, like yesterday u'd post 25th April news, and today would be 26th April news.

But the thing is, I'd post 23rd and 24th April news today on the 26th April.
So now I want to make these 2 dates be at the back, not be the latest so members know the dates of the most recent news.
