Question Regarding Domain Names

I have bought and used credits to register a domain name for my forum. When filling in the form I put the address as "Private" as I am concerned about privacy and security, i.e. can someone access your address via a whois domain name search once your domain name is active?
I have not received email confirmation that my request has been received or actioned. How do I check that the reservation has been received and, if I do enter my home address, can others see it?

No, I didn't receive anything. It's weird, cos I had to register here twice, as my usual email address didn't get the activation code either. I checked my junk mail, it isn't in there. It's almost as though it doesn't like my email address!

Wait for a couple of days, probably it will directly start working.
