Administrator help please

[b]Hi guys,
I currently have a forum created and I would like yo know how to become the MAIN Administrator. Someone else had created the forum and that member is now gone... I am an admin but I want to know how I can delete that person and put in a new Main Administrator. He is gone and he used to be the main administrator. Help plz.

When was his/her last visit to the forum ?

he comes to visit every couple of weeks but since he isnt in the group anymore, he isnt supposed to have those rights,

he was the original maker but does not belong here anymore

If the forunder left the forum you have some options

1. Wait 6 months since the fouonder lasted loged in.
2. Ask he/she to give you the info so that you can change it for your use.

Other than those nothing can be done.

heres what you do:

1. someone has to get on the admin's account
2. admin panel
3. search users and your account
4. permissions and click admin
5. get on yours and search him and you can delete him

You cant delete the founder. it wont let you.

yes, it wont let me delete the founder, i am already admin but i want the founder erased, is there any other way we can solve this?

You login to the utilites and change the info like password and email. then go to the admin panel and change the email and password to what you want.

To add on to what Mario said.
Founders can simply change all their stats.

Name
Pass
Email, etc.
just do that.

I don't know but I think you should change your name to something that can be found in a search query.
