Pictures on topic boxes?

Hey, Im wondering how this person made his forum look like this: http://theskilodge.firstgoo.com/forum.htm . any ideas? I was thinking he might put a picture on the topic boxes, but I don't think you can do that.

go on admin -> colours -> pictures -> and add a link from picture on Forum main logo :

I'm not really sure what you mean by topic boxes?
Are you talking about a background on the tables?
An image next to the category/forum title?
Maybe you can be more clear or post a screen shot.

When you create your forums you can put a URL address for an image for the forum.

In Display>colors and pics>pics management> general /explore tab>>
scroll down to the bottom and add an image url in the tables background field.

I cant find "general /explore tab>>" anywhere. After I click pics management its comes up with simple mode or advanced mode
