How do you remove the ability to be pm'ed

As the Godfather, I would like to add the ability to my equivilent of the editbot not to be pm'ed.

Do any of the mod's knowhow?

No but I made an account that auto-pm's new arrivals (like the aditbot that you got at the beginning of your account here) and I don't want people filling his inbox with crap.

ah you mean the auto "welcome" message?!..or an email that is sent to you informing that a new user has registered?!

sorry i think that i don't understand..you wan't to remove the "PM" button from the topics just for a one user..so he can't pm u?!..or for all members?!..anywayz

let me tell you how to remove the button and how to prevent others from pmong you (sorry i don't fully understand you)

about removing the button:

1-admin panel (old version)

2-style admin

3-logos and pictures

4-buttons tab

5-hide the "PM" button

i think that you know that

about preventing others from PMing you:

1-admin panel old version

2-group admin

3-click "edit" on your group

4-then from this line "Permission to send PM Mailings:" choose how is allowed to PM you

that's all what i can tell you Smile

take a look at one of the godfathers posts and you will see that he doesn't have a pm button, I want this too

read this..and choose "admin" or "moderators"

so regular members wont be ablle to PM you dude..even if the button is appearing a msg will tell the member that he is not allowed to pm you!, BUT...don't do this now untill you get bothering...peace
