check boxes missing!

I can't take rights away from spamming members cuz the check boxes are gone!

You can give a member permissions by:

Administration Panel=>General=>Forum=>Categories and forums=>Choose forum=>Permissions=>And from there,you'll know what to do,and remember to press save when your done.

I tried that, I made a user group called spammers, but when I uncheck the box that say; can view and read, it unchecks it for all the members!

Hmmmm................. This is one of them, "yea" questions.
I really dont know how to help you, but will do my utter best!


Have you tried using a new/different browser, as sometimes there are browser problems from time to time?

Also, you could make a "members" group, and add everyone in there (thus stoping spamers spamming), but then again, it would takes ages if you were to add everyone if you have more than 20 members.

I have 30 members, and my browser Google Chrome.

have you tried using FireFox, or Internet Explorer??

I tried fire fox. I'll go try IE and see is that works.

EDIT: it doesn't work.

you only check or uncheck the permissions for the group not the members.

for that

I dont understand how that's possible?
We'll just have to wait to see if any other staff or members here have any suggestions or solution for this problem? if your checking them just for the group there is no way it should be doing it for all members?

No it's not like that for me and i have not seen anyone else bring this up yet.
if i check off permissions in the forums for a group it only checks them for that group not all members.

i mean this might not do anything but you can try it. try unbanning the member and see if it lets you set the permissions then.it's a long shot but you never know.

or try deleting the group all together and create it again?
dunno i'm really stumped and have no clue on this one?

I tried that before I banned him, and it's not my computer thats messed up, cuz I also tried my mac.
