help with skin creation

just wandering if anyone can help how do you create a skin i know how to post i just cant create one.

Hello, your title being non explicit and therefore not facilitating research via the search option, I'm not answering (nor is any other member) until you change your title for an explicit one, related to your problem. This will help other find their questions and get the answer in a timely matter.

A guidelines topic is about to be posted within a few days.

Making a skin is like making a soup : There's a wide variety of styles, so we can't talk about a tutorial. The basic knowledge you need : Handling a graphics software (photoshop, gimp), and knowing how to change your pics and colors in your admin panel, and I also suggest to learn CSS as well (google is your friend). After that, there are rules to follow, in order to make a good skin and so is the purpose of the future guidelines topic.

a new set of guidelines has been developed and will be posted soon.

it won't explain the process of theme creating but it'll cover the do's and dont's of theme design.
