About staff ranks

I know Moderators dont have access to administration panel but do Admins have access to it?
If they do is there some way i could take that away?

Admins do have access to the admin panel, you cannot take it away if you add them to the admin group.

Instead make another group named admin, then they won't have access to the admin panel.

So do i set it as s special group or not?

Yes you can, it will be just like a moderator group.
