important posts gone!! help

Some important posts have vanished!! I have been away for a week on honeymoon and when i went to update the posts they have totally gone. Please help me as this is really important posts for my site. It cant be the auto pruning as i havent left it for over 90 days- is there a way to sort this out and get them back without resetting my site as i dont know when they vanished.

I have just tried to get into the utils to do recovery and i cant get in - it wont accept my user name and/or password

Did you have any other admins or moderators at your forum? If so, they could have deleted it.

If you can get logged in, go to security and click moderation in the administrative panel. That will tell you the user and IP that deleted topics, etc.

It doesnt say that anyone deleted it. : and I still cant get into the utils to do recovery

Hello.

Are you sure you used the accurate IDs to log in to the utils?

Username : Forum address OR E-mail address used to create your forum

Password : The one used to create your forum.

I am sure - i tried it with both the original email address i used and my ammended on which i had to change it to. I also tried it with my website address - and tried a few variations of passwords and still cant get in there.

Please, would you give me your e-mail address and your forum address by PM? I will transmit these info to my French colleagues who can access the utils for restoration.

If you aren't sure of your e-mail address, just list all your addresses.
