need help! site regestration problems

i made a site for my runescape clan but when the leader of the clan regestered it never sent him a regestration e-mail, and it wont let him re-regester cause it says the name and email is already in use, but in my admin panel it says he doesnt exist, what can i do!

Go to user admin>inactive users

Tick his box and click activate

and also make sure that the ueser is able to activate the membership by him self (via email), but not the admin

3-configuration...here find this line "Enable account activation" and choose "user"...

i dont have any inactive users, but i did set the ''enable account activation'' to ''user'' thanx alot for your help, just 1 more question, we the people that have already reg. now get an e-mail for reg.? or do they need to re-regester.

mm...just check your (as you are an admin) email inbox and the junk-mail box to make sure that u may have received activation requests for those members..otherwise..mm..they may need to re-register..but with another mail address if their current addresses ain't accepted...
